What’s New in FoCal Mobile Beta 2

Welcome to FoCal Mobile Beta 2. Hot on the heels of Beta 1, this release brings a bunch of fixes and some usability improvements.

Version Details

Headline Features

This is the first release of FoCal Mobile. It currently supports the following tools:

• Added native iPad support
• Verify Setup now behaves like Target Setup in FoCal Desktop
• Various fixes (see changelog below for more details)

In this release there is no calibration functionality – that will be coming in a later beta release.

Known Issues

These are some issues we currently know about:

• If you move away from the app and return, it won’t always return the exactly the same page.
• There is some occasional unreliability in communications between the back-end and the user interface, resulting in stuck progress bars etc. It is much more noticeable if your device is in low-power mode. If the user interface appears unresponsive, navigate away from FoCal and then return and it should be resolved. We’re actively working on this issue.
