Headline Features

Mobile Pro available to FoCal Pro (Desktop) license holders

If you have a FoCal Pro (Desktop) license, and you’re within your support period, you can now access all the premium features of FoCal Mobile Pro.

To do so, head the Account page (the icon on the top left of the app), and log in with the same email/password you use for FoCal Pro (Desktop).

Extra Help

We’ve recently updated the FoCal website, and there’s lots of specific information now about each camera. This is linked from the app automatically. For instance, if you connect a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV to FoCal, you’ll see a link to learn more – if you tap on this, you’ll be taken to the 5D Mark IV page on the website which contains setup help for this specific camera as well as other information.

More control of FoCal settings

Bringing a feature over from FoCal Desktop, you can now disable FoCal’s control of Exposure Compensation, Metering, ISO and White Balance independently from the Test Settings option.

We generally recommend you let FoCal control these settings, but if you want to choose your own values for testing then make sure the option to ignore these is enabled and FoCal won’t change away from whatever is set on the camera when you connect.

Known Issues

These are some issues we currently know about:

• Occasionally, you may see audio controls on the lock screen after using FoCal.
